About Us
The Mid-East Preschool opened in September 1969, as a part of the Early Childhood Education Program at the Mid-East Career and Technology Centers. The preschool strives to provide an optimal learning environment for each child and Early Childhood Education Career-Tech student. The preschool teaching staff and Early Childhood Education student teachers design their lessons to provide an optimal learning environment where children's cognitive, social-emotional, and physical development can be supported through structured hands-on learning activities.
The Mid-East Preschool Mission:
Create a welcoming environment that inspires a love of learning in children.
The preschool is licensed by the Ohio Department of Children & Youth and Rated as a Gold Award Program.

To qualify for our income-based program children must be four or five years of age, not eligible for kindergarten, and meet the income guidelines.
